Blog Recrudescence
If you leave 1000 monkeys in a room full of typewriters for a really long time, will they type a copy of the complete the works of Shakespeare?
Perhaps a better bet would be that they would start a government IT department. But of course, we know that these monkeys are all hypothetical, and that evolution is more along the lines of something as masterly as the House at Pooh Corner appearing out of nowhere at all.
Unfortunately, such misguided scientific theories do not also apply to my blog, even if I did leave it for 40,000 bazillion years, you would probably still not find a decent post that had appeared by some administration error of the guys at Servage Hosting.
In case you fumbled over my drift or lacked the co-ordination to judge where it was going at all, this is by way of an apology for the fact nothing has appeared on this blog for quite a long time.
Christmas Festivities
This was probably the best Christmas of my entire life, and for the first time ever, I’m back at college and I’m actually satisfied with the holiday, and shouldn’t need another break for a while.
It was fantastic having the whole of my family back for Christmas, and some of my extended family came as well on Christmas Eve, so I got to see my cousins after a few years of not seeing them (not sure how many).
I will not provide a definitive list of our visitors, because, knowing my luck, the person I missed out will read my blog, and I may also include people who didn’t actually come.
What did you get?
All my friends ask this, so I will give an answer. However, if you gave me a present which is not listed, please don’t think I hate you.
Well, the highlight was definitely a TI-83+. I don’t know about you, but my opinion is that if your education does not require a graphical calculator, you are on the wrong career path. This was given by my parents along with an OU book on how to use the thing.
Another highlight for me was a book on celtic knots bought for me by Jonney and Monika (how did they know?).
Finally, I would like to highlight the 25 dice bought for me by Mark. This is so I could play perudo, a game I plan to addict the whole of my college to (I’ve already done it with ultimate snap).
I’ll post that for now, because I don’t have time to write the whole thing…

Peter, don’t you think spending £80 on a calculator is rather excessive lol? My graphical calculator was only about £30 off Amazon.
It wasn’t £80. I don’t know how much it was, but it was second hand. Yours, however cannot have a version of Pokémon for it.
Graphical calculators scare me…as if normal scientific calculators don’t have far too many buttons already…:-D they are rather cool though! How you managed to lose a dice yet…thats one thing you can never find when you need one, so having 25 has to be a bonus!
Oh I must tell you, you nearly caused my dad to crash his car earlier! “Emma…Emma….your friend’s bike only has one wheel…look!” “Dad…it’s a UNIcycle…*arg!*” it’s no use explaining…clearly the craze hasn’t caught on in jamaica! Though beat this…the ice cream man, and the peanut man both come on bicycles. Now there’s a career opportunity!
God bless

Yeah, I did see you go past, and you were going quite fast, so I was thinking your dad would have very little time to actually look. But you didn’t crash. So I suppose that is the main thing. I wonder how many people have nearly crashed after seeing me. This is why my parents told my brother not to ride on a motorway bridge.
