Mark rang me on the afternoon of the 31st and asked if I wanted to come down and watch the new year in in London. As someone studying Physics, I am a strong believer in relativity. That is, that all time is relative to London. As we all know, the reason it takes so long to travel anywhere in space is because you are travelling away from London at such an alarming rate; by the time you’re at the moon it must be about GMT -364, and lets not even talk about the next galaxy. So for me, it seemed like a great idea to watch fireworks in our capital for the new year, and it was. I had a great time. There’s now pictures on facebook you can see if you feel so inclined.
